RESTORATION AND COLORIZATION OF BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPH
Portrait of WWI hero, Milan Rastislav Stefanik who co-founded Czechoslovakia in 1918 was restored from damaged 5x7 glass plate negative taken during the sitting for the official portrait. After the black and white photograph was restored it was colorized, accurately replicating the colors of WWI french officers uniform and the military decorations as they were confirmed by extensive research and consultation with military history experts. Final image was printed on Moab Summerset Enhanced paper.
